Tampaknya pengguna EeePad Transformer akan bersuka ria karena EeePad Transformer akan mendapatkan update Android 3.2 . Hal itu tidak lepas dari pernyataan ASUS di jejaring sosial Twitter. Di salah satu tweet-nya, mereka mengaku sedang menguji Android 3.2 pada EeePad Transformer.

Desain
Seperti yang dikatakan sebelumnya Eee Pad Tranformer dapat berubah bentuk menjadi sebuah notebook. Hal itu bisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan dock yang tersedia secara terpisah. Meski dijual terpisah, dock tersebut memiliki desain yang selaras dengan Eee Pad Tranformer, sehingga saat digabungkan dan akan nampak seperti Notebook utuh.
Punggung Eee Pad Tranformer memiliki tekstur dengan pola geometris yang cukup halus sehingga jika dipegang akan terasa nyaman. Di bagian muka terdapat bidang plastik dengan frame hitam lebar seperti tablet pada umumnya. Bedanya, bidang itu masih dibingkai lagi oleh bahan metalik dengan perforasi yang agaknya berfungsi sebagai lubang speaker.
Dock-nya pun menggunakan bahan metalik yang sama dengan tabletnya. Sehingga bila digabungkan, akan nampak seperti notebook sungguhan yang menggunakan OS Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
Layar yang digunakan berukuran 10.1 inchi. Layar ini memanfaatkan teknologi In-Plane-Switching sehingga sudut pandangnya dapat mencapai hingga 178 derajat.
Tablet/Notebook
Saat menjadi tablet, Eee Pad Tranformer terasa cukup memuaskan dengan respon layar nya yang cukup bagus. Sedangkan saat menjadi notebook dengan cara dipasangkan ke dock-nya, perangkat ini pun dapat digunakan seperti biasa. Begitu tersambung dengan dock-nya, di layar akan nampak icon pemberitahuan di System Bar Honeycomb.
Sebuah pointer pun akan muncul di layar yang bisa dikendalikan dengan touchpad pada dock atau melalui mouse yang terhubung ke port USB. Port USB itu juga bisa dihubungkan ke penyimpanan eksternal seperti USB flashdisk.
Meskipun menjadi 'notebook' layar sentuh Eee Pad Tranformer masih berfungsi. Beberapa hal pun terasa lebih enak diakses lewat layar sentuh, seperti scrolling atau berpindah antar layar Home Screen.
Sedangkan di keyboard juga tersedia beberapa shortcut yang khas Android. Mulai dari untuk WiFi, mengunci/membuka layar, Back maupun untuk akses cepat ke Settings.
